Update On Baby Number Three

Happy Thursday babes! I hope you are all having a wonderful end to your week! I can’t believe that I am just a few days away from being half way through this pregnancy, it is seriously flying by! All of my pregnancies have been very similar, but there are some small differences between the three. I definitely felt the most sick with this baby, and every once in a while I still get nauseous. I also get the most sore this time around, especially after my workouts (even my light workouts). One thing that I have noticed is that I have the MOST energy with baby number three. I really believe its from how healthy I’ve been eating and all of my green juices. They have made such a difference in the way I feel. Giving up coffee has also helped me feel that much better!

So many people have asked if I’m curious at all to know the sex of the baby. There was a week when I was about 16 weeks pregnant and I felt like I just NEEDED to know. After I waited a few days, I decided that I really do just want to be patient and have the gender be a complete surprise. Ever since then, I haven’t felt the urge to find out. We are just really looking forward to March!

When I first found out that I was pregnant again, I was in complete shock. I didn’t really know how to react because this time we didn’t plan it (although we knew we wanted to have 2-3 more kids). Once we finally moved and got the rest of our lives sorted out, that’s when the pure excitement hit me. I get to have another baby! Beckam and Layker are going to be big brothers and we are so blessed to continue to grow our little Johnson clan.

Baby started to kick right at 18 weeks (the boys were both kicking around this time too, that I could feel). As soon as I felt those first few kicks, I just fell so in love with this little one. We are so excited to see what he or she will look like, how the boys will respond, and most of all to just have a brand new baby to snuggle this winter. I think for once, our Canadian winter is going to fly by!
